Job Summary
We're searching for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data pipelines that form the backbone of our data infrastructure. You'll work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their needs, design efficient data models, and build robust and scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources
- Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes to store and manage large datasets efficiently
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and design data models
- Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages like Python
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field (experience can be substituted with relevant coursework or projects for freshers)
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python (or similar)
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e. g., Apache Beam, Spark) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
