Responsibilities:

• Support the full talent lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and development.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.
• Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and foster a positive work environment.
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, building a strong company culture remotely.
• Create and analyze HR reports and data, drawing insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, adapting strategies to a remote-first environment.
• Provide excellent administrative support to senior HR staff and other departments.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role with a focus on recruitment, performance management, and/or employee relations.
• Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and HR regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport and effectively handling sensitive situations.
• Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and handle challenges independently.
• Proficiency in HR software and relevant administrative tools.
• Passion for employee well-being and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first setting and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
