Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and other IT-related problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain user workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Perform software updates and patch installations.
- Remotely access user desktops to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Document all support interactions and troubleshooting steps taken.
- User Training:
- Provide basic training to users on new software applications and procedures.
- Answer user questions and address concerns.
- Develop and maintain user manuals and knowledge base articles.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Track and manage software licenses.
- Order and manage equipment replacements and upgrades.
- Other duties:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and best practices in desktop support.
- Adhere to company policies and security procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
